Day 2

It's morning now, but I still see the creatures. They seem to wander aimlessly, with no apparent purpose. But they're definitely hostile.

This morning all the beings of the night strangely burned to a crisp...that is, except for one. The green plant-like creature I mentioned survived well into the daytime and even began chasing me. I managed to outrun it.

Back at my base, I figured I would do well for myself to fashion some type of self defense. After a little experimentation I produced a small stone blade that should work well against the nightmarish things.
I promptly slayed the green beast, it left behind only a small pile of dust that reeked of smoldering ash.

The rest of the day was spent shoveling the obnoxious sand away from the steps of my hideaway.

Day One

I awoke...in a desert. Nothing around me except sand and some trees in the distance. I have no earthly idea how I ended up here. The only thing to do is walk, so that's what I did.
I arrived at a tree and began doing something I'll never be able to explain. I began punching the damn thing...and strangely enough, I successfully harvested pieces of the tree.

The desert is larger than I first believed. This looks like a rough trek, but I'll have to make it if I don't want to roast out here, this sun is ridiculous.

The sun will set soon. While I'll be glad to get out of the heat, I have a horrible sinking feeling about the night.

I decided to build a shelter; near a sand dune I found what looks to be coal. Out of wood, I created a basic bench to work from. Eventually I dug out a place to wait out the night, using only the slight torchlight to ward away any foes.

My instincts were correct, there are...monsters. So far I've seen a strange green one (that I mistook for a plant) and a zombie. I need to find a way out of this world...but until then, I foresee many sleepless nights.
